Dorking is ideally placed approximately midway between London and the South Coast, and nestles at the foot of two famous beauty spots, Box Hill and Leith Hill. It also offers easy access to London, Gatwick Airport, and the M25, and has excellent train services and many other attractions, including it's famous street of antique shops, a thriving vineyard, and beautiful countryside. The area is also a ramblers or serious walkers paradise, being close to the North Downs / Pilgrims Way and other walks in the surrounding Surrey hills. There are many other places of interest including National Trust houses and gardens within easy reach. |
